We will first keep this beauty in the North East on our list for two primary reasons. Firstly, it is one of the best hill stations in the country, filled with beautiful places. Secondly, even though it is somewhat well-known, it still feels relatively underrated, especially when you consider the variety of experiences this place offers you and your travel buddies.

This bliss in the North East has soul-pleasing weather in the summer season and offers unimaginable lush greenery. Its gorgeous lakes and waterfalls are truly surreal. Also known as Scotland in the east, it is the perfect spot to slow boat around in the Umiam lake.

Want to kill a bit of time in peace? Go ahead and fish in Dawki. Have a hiking bone inside you, go trek on the beautiful living root bridges, the Kyllang rock, or marvel at the Sophet Bneng.

Adventure lovers have their lists filled. Go rafting or kayaking along the Kynshi river, or ride a horse, climb rocks, or maybe even, for an ultimate experience, rappel along those beautiful waterfalls. This place has it all!

Another great getaway from Mumbai is Lonavala, which offers you lovely relaxing properties. Celebrate a worthy break from the monotonous city life. Rajmachi Wildlife sanctuary is a great place to refresh and reconnect with nature and its creatures for the hectic city dwellers. Camping with your travel buddies at Aundoli is also an option to immerse yourself in life outside the city and enjoy the trip for a few days.
